I got some orange neon accent lights (for the interior, not underbody!). They are mounted in the door storage areas, and they work perfect. Some more orange interior light, but when off, they are invisible. When on, they are dim and hidden enough that they aren’t annoying. Lots of pics and details after the jump.

Interior Accent Neons

I did some rewiring work today to clean some stuff up, and with my new camera, i finally got some good pics of how they look!
These pics are actually a little brighter than they are in real life, the exposure time was a little long on the camera.
I darkened them a little, but they are a lot darker in real life. Its a really soft glow.

Front seats

I saw an article in a magazine that had some cool interior neons. Since the IS has pretty big door storage “cubby” things, i decided that maybe some hidden orange neons would be pretty cool.

I got 4 orange street glow tubes, and the “music interface” box that you can turn on to allow them to flicker with the music.

The pics don’t do it justice, they just aren’t bright enough. But the orange matches the interior colors perfectly, and with them in the cubbies, they are noticeable, but they aren’t too “loud”.

When they are off, they are completly invisible.
